This five-movement suite contains freely constructed arrangements of three and four-voice instrumental and vocal pieces from Poland's impressive production of sixteenth and seventeenth century music. In most cases the pieces are arrangements of arrangements and in some movements (I, IV and V) several pieces were juxtaposed to create multiple-part forms.
