Twelve Trees is a set of duets that are in Medium to Medium-Advanced performance ranges. As the name implies, the different selections are meant to exemplify the character of the different trees in the individual titles. The titles/trees are:

1. Oak – a strong, majestic tree

2. Willow – a limber tree with cascading branches and slender leaves

3. Apple – a fruit tree favored by many

4. Hickory – a big tree known for its tough, sinewy wood

5. Loblolly Pine – a tall, straight pine tree found in the southeastern US

6. Locust – a gnarly tree with sometimes crooked branches

7. Birch – a northern tree with light colored bark

8. Banyan – a Pacific island tree with many shoots that descend from the branches to the ground

9. Ginko – an ancient (but surviving) tree that has fan shaped leaves

10. Kapok – a tropical tree that yields a cottony fluff used to stuff pillows and upholstery

11. Magnolia – a flowering tree with oval, waxy leaves

12. Spruce – a conifer with short, prickly needles
