Carnival Overture, by Antonin Dvorak (op. 92 ) arranged for Brass Ensemble by Lars M.B. Olsen.

The overture Carnival is essentially written in traditional sonata form, with the difference that Dvořák wrote an extra section, a kind of dream-like intermezzo which, in its atmosphere, is in sharp contrast to everything else. The exposition heads straight in with the main theme, whose stirring vitality is reminiscent of the Slavonic Dances. Lars has made a fantastic arrangement of this piece. Please listen below:
