During the second World War, Denmark was occupied by Germany 1940 - 1945.In 1943 it was rumored that the Nazis would arrest all Danish Jews, but in October the vast majority succeeded in escaping to Sweden in small fishing boats."The Journey to Sweden" is written in memory of this rescue. - Mogens Andresen, 2013. A very beautiful tone poem by Mogens Andresen and his son, Johannes. The second world war brings up a lot of emotions around the world, and everyone has their own side of the story. Mogens and Johannes has created their story with music, and allowed us to get an insight in this incredibly meaningful story.
