Sofie Brems Sørensen

Sofie is from a town in Denmark, called Viborg. Trumpet player educated from The Danish Music Academy in Jutland 2014-2017, her teacher was Kristian Steenstrup. After finishing studies with Kristian, she went to the Music Acedemy in Oslo, Norway, and graduated in 2020.

Sofie has countless arrangements behind her, for all kinds of ensembles - mostly Brass and Wind. The interest for arranging came with the lack of material when she was teaching her students in marching bands and the like - "everyone likes to play what they know" is her thesis for her arrangement journey.
