Havent had an opportunity to play them yet.

Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass - by Herb Alpert ( *1935 ) - arranged for Brass Quintet by Dwight Tibbetts.

Around 1960, Alpert became friends with a fellow young music executive named Jerry Moss, and the two enjoyed driving to Tijuana, Mexico, to watch bullfights. Struck by the charged atmosphere of these events, Alpert began working on a double-horned track with session musicians. After forming A&M Records with Moss, the trumpet player, Herb, enjoyed his first hit as an artist and executive with the release of "The Lonely Bull," by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. This was the start of a legendary orchestra with multiple hits, a notable thing for an orchestra that was only playing for 9 years.

Mr. Tibbetts has made a wonderful arrangement ( be sure to hit the mp3 sample button ) with the this little potpurri of 3 songs. Fairly easy to play, and with lyrics in the 1st trumpet part as well. Songs included :

  1. The Guy´s in Love with you -
  2. South of the Border -
  3. Mexican shuffle.
