• Handel : Ode to Joy - The Ode to Joy is fanfarish and a little on the short side. It's a great opener and it can be used for Christmas church services as well. Some prefer a more pastoral version, but this arrangement is a big audience hit.

• Bach : Jesu, joy of Man's Desiring - JESU, joy of Man's Desiring. The key to this piece is to keep the melody flowing, and this is done by overlapping the trumpets. Balance was the other crucial factor, as in any organ derived work. There's so much going on in this work, perhaps Bach's best. The melody, the pastoral counterlines, the regal chordal line that rises and then disappears. We believe you will enjoy this arrangement keeping true to Bach's rendition.

• Bach : We Hasten with Eager Footsteps - Inspired by the "Empire Brass" edition - this arrangement is always well received, and a must have for any easter concert.
