Let it ring softly ( Lad det klinge sødt i sky ) - Arranged for Brass Ensemble by Mogens Andresen.
A great crowd pleaser at any Christmas concert. "Let it ring sweetly" is a traditional Danish Christmas song, no one knows the origin of the song, though it is highly inspired by Orlando di Lasso.
Let it ring Softly - played by Royal Danish Brass:
This arrangement starts with a trumpet solo playing the theme as a bugle signal, accompanied by a drum, which sets the mood right away. Mogens Andresen has great flair for creating an interesting atmosphere - combining different styles of playing that always takes the listener by surprise.
