Traditional Christmas – Wassail Song for Trombone QuartetCherry Classics
Traditional Christmas – Wassail Song for Trombone Quartet.
The Wassail is a secular holiday song dating back to the 12th century, traditionally sung at Christmas, actually does not celebrate the nativity, but rather the New Year! The word “Wassail” is an olde English word for a spiced wine or ale and one would go door-to-door toasting to your “Good Health” with a hearty mug of it. Ron Babcock’s lively arrangement for intermediate to advanced performers of about 5 minutes in length will make sure that a great time is had by all!
